Actors biography:

Mari is a multilingual actress and scriptwriter with an international upbringing. She’s been living and working in London for almost thirty years now. She grew up in New York, went to school in Poland and Russia, lived in France and Switzerland. She speaks four languages fluently (English, Russian, Polish, French) and is learning Italian just for fun.

For many years Mari worked for the BBC World Service, she is a natural in front of a microphone or a camera, so the transition to film acting wasn’t too hard. Mari has studied in depth the systems of Stanislavsky and Mikhail Chekhov. She has performed on stage and in films in Russian and in English. Recently she took part in a spy series, produced in Poland.

In 2019 Mari started a small film company Film Mash Productions – to bring together film enthusiasts from around the world. Over the last few years Film Mash has produced ten short films, some winning awards at international film festivals.

Mari likes riding, ice skating and swims in open water all year round.
